Easter decorations – delicate artwork made from the farmwoman
At the Gamsegghof, on long winter evenings, we blow out and dye goose eggs, which are afterwards elaborately scratched by Beatrix Hohenegger. The coloured eggs are available with Eastern subjects, sayings, good wishes and other messages. Every single egg is a little artwork per se. With nature as source of inspiration, the scratched goose eggs have a unique meaning: eggs are the emblem of life and as such they are in season throughout the whole year, not only at Eastern.
